This Privacy Policy describes how Manga Reader ("the Extension") handles information when you use it. We are committed to protecting your privacy — the Extension is designed to work entirely on your device with no data ever leaving it.

2. Information we store

The Extension stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:

Reading orientation preference — your chosen reading direction (e.g. left-to-right or right-to-left).
Auto-run setting — whether the Extension should automatically activate when you navigate to a new page.

This data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server, third party, or external service.

3. Information we do not collect

The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

Browsing history or URLs you visit
Personal information of any kind
Usage analytics or telemetry
Crash reports or diagnostics
Cookies or tracking identifiers

4. Third-party services

Manga Reader does not integrate with, or send data to, any third-party service, analytics platform, or advertising network.

5. Data retention and deletion

Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you can delete it at any time by:

Removing the Extension from Chrome (this clears all stored settings), or
Clearing your browser's extension storage via Chrome settings.

6. Children's privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the Extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
